Tineo Peruvian Cafe: Reviews & Ratings
Best Peruvian restaurant in the area and the owner is a great guy in the community. Food is good and pretty consistent. Been there a lot as I have to other Peruvian restaurants and this place is my fav. Food will taste the same 9 out of 10 times. Other places aren't as consistent and when you tell them about an issues they'll look at you as if you're the problem. Here they'll correct it but it's seldom that there's an issue tbh.
Hey everyone! Just had to share this amazing experience with you all! So, I was craving some authentic Peruvian food and someone recommended this spot. Let me tell you, it was absolutely mind-blowing! I actually went twice in one week because their ceviche is hands down the best in town. The flavors were so real and authentic, it felt like a trip straight to Peru! Big shoutout to the personn and the entire team there . The vibe isn’t just about the food — it’s the passion and pride they have in representing their culture that makes the place magical. Seriously, this experience was next level and I’m so grateful for it . If you haven’t been yet, you NEED to go! Trust me, you’ll love it . Has anyone else been? Or wanna check it out together? Let’s plan!
This place is legitimately amazing. Discovered it the other weekend. We got a lot of food and everything was incredible. 100% order the chicha morada to drink - it’s a purple corn drink from the Andean region of Peru. Their tropical fruit juices are also worth ordering. I have never been to Peru, but I’m going to take a guess that the flavorings and preparation are purely authentic. Whether or not that’s actually true, the food is so good that it doesn’t really matter.
Amazing service from the staff they’re very attentive, the food is freshly made. Everything was delicious! Definitely coming back.
Came here with friends and we had some of the best Peruvian food we could ask for. Highly recommend the empanadas, lomo saltado, ceviche, and aji de gallina. My wife is gluten free and they accomodate very well with yuca fries and tofu saltado. If you have extra room for dessert we recommend the leche asada and arroz con leche. The lunch portions are very generous. Will come back again soon!
February 2025 Stopped here for some homemade empanadas. This place looks like a warm and welcoming small business for the South American community. Several young families and working adults were here during my visit. Great job serving craving food to our community. Love our small businesses.
This place has the flavor! While it may not have all the Peruvian dishes you wish, the flavors of the dishes they do offer are AMAZING. If you have never had Peruvian food, well... it's not to late! The servers here will do their best to aid you with the menu, or find someone who can. Their recommendations are excellent for beginners, and solid for experienced eaters of Peruvian cuisine that just don't know the items on the menu. The empanadas, and papa rellena are great starters (ask for the green sauce especially on the chicken dang those were good). We got one chicken and one beef empanada and they would have been enough for the four of us, but the papa rellena sounded good so we got it too and a pork tamale. I got the Arroz Chaufa de Carne (beef fried rice) and added some of their amazing green sauce, it was absolute heaven. That may just be the best fried rice I've ever had. My wife got the goat with beans, and was thoroughly impressed, which is saying something as she doesn't care for beans. We got the boy Lomo Saltado and it was savory and delicious. My daughter got Tallarines Verde con Bistec which is a lovely pesto pasta with steak, it's not an Italian pesto, but delicious none the less. We split an anise cookie for desert, it was thick, and not overpowering with the licorice flavor, it made a nice end to the meal. Also if you are a soda person Inca Kola is the best thing ever!
Wow... Tried this place for my birthday, and it was AMAZING! We split the tamal, spinach empanada, and tacu tacu (a crispy rice and bean patty) with chicken. The portions were generous and everything was delicious, including the alfajor (a shortbread cookie sandwich with caramel in the middle). The owner is very sweet and fluently bilingual, and the music was fun but not overly loud like some places. Definitely planning to come back and recommend to all my friends!
